I wasn't watching the show much in late 2003, but here's how my world starts: Courtney took the kids out of town and even though Carly is awake, she's kept them there because Sonny is in jail and Carly feels overwhelmed by everything. Sonny's in jail for the shooting (because, NEWSFLASH GH, this is how it works in the real world, jackasses) and Jason's working to get him out--legally or illegally. Courtney's met Brian, and Carly remembers things from before she got shot, but none of the feelings. She does remember the dreams and how she felt in them. Elizabeth slept with Zander and is still estranged from Ric. That's all you need to know right now because other changes are part of the actual story.
